^Thats $26 MILLION dollars to charter a foreign flag cruise ship to provide Rest and Recreation for troops! She was docked in Bahrain from Christmas Eve 1990 to the end of summer 1991. American soldiers were flown from Saudi Arabia or Kuwait to Bahrain, berthed for three or four days on the ship, getting a "cruise to nowhere" in a floating hotel.
