Matson Navigation Company and Oceanic Navigation Company Ships
The lists are from Cargoes: Matson's 1st Century in the Pacific, by William L. Worden, Hawaii: University Press of Hawaii, 1981
Some of the early ships listed for Oceanic were probably built for the Spreckels family and may have made some voyages before formal organization of the Oceanic Navigation Company. After the Oceanic Navigation Company became a Matson Navigation Company subsidiary in 1926, several trades were made between the fleets and a few ships are included in both lists.
